Join us for the AI for Networking Hackathon! This is a hackathon organized for students, by students across Pace University and NYU. Let’s build our future of networking with AI. Work in teams to create your innovative solutions that create social connections using AI and win cash awards. Mentors will be on hand to assist with our activities. Guidelines:
- Connecting People Using AI idea: Explore how an app using AI can enhance social connections. This could be with advanced matching, content creation, organizing workshops, communities, or any other opportunities you envision!
- Technology Innovation: For the Minimum Viable Product (MVP), please demonstrate functional prototype that highlights the application of your innovative ideas.
- Business Proposal: Teams must clearly describe their target users and outline marketing strategies.
Requirements
Submission Requirements: Submissions should include the description of the idea, a code repository link (GitHub) is advised but not mandatory, slides or videos that cover the project introduction, team introduction, MVP prototype (designs), technology used and go to market promotion strategy.
Prizes : Winning teams will receive a cash reward of $500, opportunities for professional mentorship from industry leaders, introductions to hiring managers in startups and FAANG, and personalized resume reviews. All top teams will be featured on social media platforms.

Idea
Description of the idea and how to use AI to connect people.The ways to connect can be done leveraging any type of AI powered matching criteria or channel (workshops, events, 1:1s etc.) -
Prototype
Github code and/or mocks in figma or using any tool that showcases the designs of how the product will look like (the prototype) -
Marketing strategy
Explain how you will acquire your first users. Describe briefly which marketing channels will be used to promote the app and get users.
